Competencies
Students are able to
- identify and formulate the security requirements for an internet-based solution stemming from different stakeholder groups,
- extract the security concept of an existing solution from publicly available information and by inspecting source code and to describe it,
- identify vulnerabilities and validate them in practice,
- compare and evaluate existing products and services with similar security requirements,
- derive recommendations for a secure usage of the products, and
- present the results of the research to a broad audience.
