Think Like a Hacker: Attack systems in a controlled manner, exploit vulnerabilities, and understand how cyberattacks work in order to defend against them more effectively.
Contents
- Web security: XSS, XSRF, injection attacks, OAuth, Captchas
- Penetration testing: fuzzing, dictionary attacks
- Cryptography: side channel compression attacks, padding oracles
- Reverse engineering
- IT forensics
Competencies
Students are able to
- attack software using established attack vectors and using existing tools,
- attack hardware with dedicated techniques.
