Understand the World of Computer Science: Gain an initial overview of the field of computer science, understand the fundamental concepts of computer architecture, operating systems, and networks, and develop the mindset needed to systematically analyze and solve simple problems.

- History of Computer Science
- Basics of computer architectures (components of the computer: RAM, ROM, CPU, ...)
- Number systems and coding
- Operating Systems (Introduction), Command Line (Shell), Graphical User Interfaces
- Computer Networks and Internet (Introduction)
- IT Security Principles (Introduction)
- Current and future challenges for computer science
