Discover How Real Teams Work: Apply agile methods such as Scrum, Kanban, and XP while understanding the principles behind them, why they are effective, and how to use them successfully.
Contents
- Explain principles and methods of agile software development, e.g., Extreme Programming, Scrum, Kanban
- Apply several techniques used in agile environments, e.g., pair programming, test-driven development
- Select use tools and methods necessary to implements such a process, e.g., IDEs, Burn Up Chart, Kanban-Board, CFD
- Use and adapt methods depending on a specific project context
- Deepening Scrum techniques in a 2-day workshop
Competencies
Students are able to
- explain principles and methods of agile software development,
- select and apply methods / their elements depending in the specific context,
- use tools necessary to implements such a process, and
- understand that agile development does not allow abandoning of all inconvenient software element tasks.
