Immerse Yourself in Virtual Worlds: Develop your own virtual reality applications, combine creative and technical approaches, and create engaging interactive experiences.
Contents
- Conceptual and prototypical development of local multiplayer VR
- Basics of VR development in Godot
- Techniques to develop inteaction concepts and stage organisation
- Game design to translate a crime story into a VR game
Competencies
Students are able to
- develop VR applications,
- understand applications of VR in different contexts,
- develop a VR prototype in Godot for multi player VR,
- understand different media formats (VR, movie, theater) and there ways of communication,
- understand and use space (VR vs theatre vs movies)
- use analog methods to implement digital projects,
- develop new concepts for interactive systems.
